When a component's worn out, out of tolerance, or simply doesn't exist anymore because the machine's obsolete, MMP's fitter-turners machine, fabricate and fit the replacement — working from the actual equipment, not just a drawing.
Because our fitter-turners are part of the same team as our mechanical engineers, electricians and fabricator-welders, a fitting or machining job on your equipment can be assessed and carried out by people who understand the whole machine it's going back into, not just the part in isolation.
A lot of fitting and machining work exists because a machine has an issue somewhere else — a mounting that's worn unevenly, a housing that's been damaged by a bigger fault. Having fitter-turners on the same team as the rest of your maintenance means the root cause gets looked at, not just the part.
Food-grade and hygiene-sensitive machining has its own requirements around materials and finish — our team is used to working within them.
